This Shipping Policy applies to all orders placed for women’s apparel products via
sandersonapparel.net and governs the terms of order processing, dispatch, delivery, shipping costs, customs, delays, lost packages, and related customer rights. By placing an order, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to this policy in full.
2. Order Processing & Dispatch
2.1 Order Verification
All orders are subject to verification for security, fraud prevention, and address validity. We reserve the right to contact you to confirm details or request additional identification if needed. Failure to respond may result in order delay or cancellation.
2.2 Processing Time
Orders are processed and prepared for dispatch within 1–2 business days (Monday–Friday, excluding UK public holidays). Orders placed on weekends or bank holidays will begin processing on the next business day.
2.3 Dispatch Location
All orders are dispatched from our UK warehouse in Barnsley, South Yorkshire.
2.4 Order Cancellation Before Dispatch
You may request order cancellation before the item has been marked as dispatched. Once cancellation is approved, we will process a full refund to your original payment method within 3–5 business days. After dispatch, cancellation is no longer available; returns will be governed by our Returns & Exchanges Policy.
3. Shipping Services, Areas & Delivery Times
We provide reliable tracked shipping services for domestic UK delivery. Currently, we only ship to UK mainland addresses (England, Scotland, Wales). We do not ship to Northern Ireland, offshore islands, international destinations, PO boxes, BFPO addresses, or parcel forwarding facilities.

3.2 UK Express Shipping

3.3 Business Day Definition
Delivery times are calculated in business days (Monday–Friday), excluding UK public holidays, weekends, peak retail periods, and weather-related disruptions.
4. Shipping Costs & Fees
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on delivery speed, order weight, and destination. Costs are clearly displayed before payment confirmation.
4.1 Domestic UK Shipping Fees
- Standard Shipping: Calculated dynamically at checkout
- Express Shipping: Premium rate displayed at checkout
- Free Shipping Threshold: Orders exceeding a specified value (as advertised on the website) qualify for free standard shipping.
4.2 Handling & Packaging
A small handling fee may be included to cover secure packaging, quality control, and warehouse labor. This fee is included in the total shipping cost shown at checkout.
5. Customs, Duties & Taxes
All orders delivered within the UK are subject to UK VAT where applicable. Prices displayed on the website include VAT where required by law.
Since we only ship to UK mainland addresses, no additional customs duties, import taxes, or border processing fees apply to your order. For any future international shipping, customs duties and local taxes will be the responsibility of the recipient and are not included in the product or shipping price.
6. Delivery Responsibilities & Customer Obligations
6.1 Accurate Address Information
You are responsible for providing a full, accurate, and deliverable address including house number, street name, town, postcode, and contact number. We cannot guarantee delivery or accept responsibility for delays or non-delivery caused by incomplete, incorrect, or outdated address details.
6.2 Delivery Attempts
If a delivery cannot be completed due to absence, the courier will leave a notification card with instructions for redelivery, collection from a local depot, or alternative arrangement. Any additional fees incurred for redelivery or reattempts will be your responsibility.
6.3 Risk of Loss
Risk of damage, loss, or theft of goods transfers to you upon successful delivery to the address you provided.
7. Order Tracking
Once your order is dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation email containing a unique tracking number and courier link. You may monitor delivery status in real time via our website or the courier’s portal. We recommend checking tracking regularly for updates.
8. Delayed, Lost & Damaged Shipments
8.1 Delivery Delays
Estimated delivery times are provided as a guide only. We are not liable for delays caused by courier disruptions, extreme weather, natural disasters, customs delays (if applicable), public holidays, postal strikes, system outages, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control. We will assist you in investigating delays and providing updates.
8.2 Lost Packages
If your tracking shows no movement for 5+ business days or is marked as undelivered, contact us immediately at payment@sandersonapparel.net with your order number and tracking details. We will open an official investigation with the courier. If the package is confirmed lost, we will offer a full refund or free replacement at our discretion.
8.3 Damaged Items
If you receive items damaged in transit, notify us within 7 calendar days of delivery with clear photos of the outer packaging, inner packaging, and the damaged product. We will review your claim and arrange a refund, replacement, or repair as appropriate. Claims made after 7 days may not be accepted.
9. Undelivered & Unclaimed Packages
If a package is returned to us as undelivered, unclaimed, or refused, we will refund the product cost minus original shipping fees and any return shipping charges incurred. Refunds are processed within 5 business days of receiving and inspecting the returned package.
10. Restricted Items & Shipping Exceptions
For health, safety, and logistics reasons, certain items may have special shipping requirements:
- Intimate apparel, underwear, and swimwear are shipped in secure, discreet packaging.
- Bulky or oversized items may require adjusted delivery times or additional fees.
- We reserve the right to restrict shipping of certain products to specific regions if required by law or logistics limitations.
